The Nearest Thing edition by David Pennington Literature Fiction eBooks

The novel I think is a major achievement and I can only hope it gets the distribution it deserves :). Well written and with a unique perspective of locating the "Ellen White phenomenon" as I could refer to it, in its absolute historical context. Most people myself included are abysmally unaware of the major upheavals and historical context of the USA in that turbulent period and I found the novel cast an informative and illuminating light on that whole fascinating era when new ideas, religions and huge moral complexities abounded.
Should be compulsory reading for all SDA's and fascinating historical interest for everyone else.
